On Saturday, August 26th, the Surry County Ruritan Club held a ribbon cutting for the Little Free Library they installed in Surry Oaks Park in the Town of Surry.
Social Development Chairwoman, Vickie Jones thanked William Skinner, Harold Jones, and Chelsea Skinner for their hard work on securing the library box and planting the post. Vickie also thanked Club President Lewis Epps for his support of their committee project. The Ruritans hope that this Little Free Library will be a benefit to the community and are pleased at the reception and use they are already receiving towards the Little Free Library.
Little Free Libraries are run on a take a book, leave a book system, but donations are always welcome. If you would like to donate, please bring books to the donation bin at 115 Colonial Drive, Surry, VA 23883.
